All Boho Mango collars and bracelets are hand-crafted in Sayulita, Mexico by the Huichol community. Huichol are an indigenous people of Mexico living in the Sierra Madre Occidental range in the states of Nayarit, Jalisco, Zacatecas, and Durango.
In Sayulita, Mexico, some of the Huichol spend long, hot days walking the beach, like many other vendors, selling their artisan wares and earning a moderate wage.
We befriended Andres who first showed us the beautiful collars and bracelets he made. Wanting to help support Andres and his family, and share the beauty of his work, we asked Andres to create a selection for us.
